what's love got to do with it?
Well, I would say that posting on people's blogs certainly does pay off. I posted a question on a stranger's blog and he gave me some very good advice. Who would have thought that I would be interested in what someone else thinks of love. *Wink*
Understand that your love isn’t an emotion, it’s more of what you are. When people say they love someone I wonder if they understand it completely. You like a certain color, you don’t know why, but you’ve liked it your whole life, even if you like a different color at one time in your life, you still have a favorite. Same with love, it’s a part of you. You love that person.
One thing that you said that really got to me was, “and while I have to carry on everyday without him, I find myself looking forward to the evening when we call and speak for hours.” The reason that struck me so deep is that, in the beginning, when me and Jessie were just friends, I said this. “It's not that I can’t breathe or live without her, its just that being with her makes it easier.” Taken from A Different Kind of 'Missing'.
